FAQ's
Do I need to be crafty & creative to join on of your workshops? Not at all. Our workshops are designed for everyone, whether you haven’t picked up a needle or paint brush in years, or you create regularly. This is a relaxed space to explore, not to perfect.
What can I expect from a workshop? Each workshop is a gentle blend of creativity, and connection. You’ll be guided through a simple, thoughtfully planned activity, with plenty of space to chat, reflect, or simply enjoy some quiet time. There is no pressure to share and you can take part in whatever way feels right for you.
Do I need to bring anything? Most of the time, everything you need will be provided. If a workshop requires anything specific, like bringing along a packed lunch or your own sewing machine, then we’ll always let you know in advance and in the workshop booking details.
Can I come on my own? Absolutely. Many people come along alone, and it’s often how connections begin. You’ll always be warmly welcomed. However, we also encourage bringing along friends to the workshops so you can share your experience and often offer workshop sharing incentives when you sign up.
What is the atmosphere like? Calm, relaxed, friendly and nurturing. The Red Tent is a space where you can arrive as you are. No expectations, no pressure, just a gentle sense of community and creativity.
Are refreshments provided? Always, yes. Most of our current workshops take place in a cafe type environment so all sorts of drinks, cakes and snacks are available to purchase.
How do I book? Workshops can be booked online via our website or through the links shared on our social media. Spaces are usually limited to keep the experience intimate.
Is there parking available? This depends on the venue, but we always provide clear details and guidance ahead of your visit.
Are your workshops suitable for all ages? Yes absolutely, but we will be very clear as to what workshops are for adults and/or younger participants. It will always be clearly described in the workshop descriptions.
What is your cancellation policy? We understand that plans can change. As spaces are limited, we ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice where possible but each session/gathering, will have it's own cancellation policy depending on time-frames and materials that need to be purchased.
Do you offer Gift Vouchers? Yes we do. Our Gift Vouchers make a lovely and thoughtful gift and can be purchased here.
